The nursing profession is one of the most active jobs in the entire planet. Just last month, the profession has been tested again in Haiti and for the nth time, practitioners proved that theirs is a job that does not just give them a living but also gives life to those that they give their service. Often disrespected by patients, nurses are not moved and are always focused on their job. Because of this unequaled service, they should be complemented with a gear that would at least give them comfort and at the same time protection.

Contrary to the usual white dress that nurses conceivably wear, time has proven that they can now wear other colors. No. We are not shunning off the white nurse uniforms. We are just after giving all nurses options on how they can perform their duties well with colored nursing scrubs. This is also a form of information for patients in our local hospitals to get used to nurses with colored gears rather than the conventional white uniforms. So before we get out of topic with these blabbing we will present now the 8 colors of scrubs that can be used by nurses.

White

See. We are not really into shunning off whites. White basically tells off patients that nurses are nurses. So this color can be considered a standard – the basis of all other scrub colors that any nurse or even doctors. Some say speculates that this color brings for authority and respect but I say that this is a color that just makes a nurse more impelling especially if not yet stained by blood or anything of that kind.

Purple

Normally seen worn by paramedics, purple scrubs are best with just very clever yet simple neck cut or seam details. This color is great for long tunic design that extends down the hips.

Blue

Showcase a blue wrap top scrub and you will not just look good but will also feel good while doing your tasks. The best of this color is that, partner it with colored pants regardless of what color and you will still have the same comfort and good feel.

Green

Nevertheless, if we put hierarchy among the colors frequently used by nurses or associated with the nursing profession there would not be any color that would second white except green. But the good thing is that, just like any other color, green has other shades which can also be used for scrubs. How about a traditional drawstring scrub?

Pink

The supposed femme color is not bad after all for nurses. Normally, pink scrubs are used by nurses in pediatric wards, but who cares when you flaunt it in the ER. The lovely aura of this color can really give a smile to your patients.

Yellow

Bright and blithe are the qualities we have for yellow and when you have this for a medial gear then nothing else protrudes out of the wearer except those same qualities.

Brown

Flesh has it. Natural and flat are this color’s quality but despite these, brown scrubs are way the most comfortable hospital garments to use. Maybe because of that natural quality is what brings this comfort.

Black

Universal as a water might be, black hospital garments are just simply given. Fashion wise, black can be partnered to any color. Job wise, black is not really that messy to look at, and you will not worry about fluids staining it. Drawback however: not a usual nurse color.
